It uses 100% pure essential oils specifically selected to help improve mental health. Shower steamers release essential oils when sprinkled with water, creating a steam room effect in your shower. Bringing the spa to your home gives you time to relax and unwind.

We started up in March 2021 and have slowly developed into the flourishing small business that we are today. We also combine the use of crystals for spiritual and self-healing. We have been putting together self care packages for our customer so dusting of our aromatherapy products and a variety of natural crystals. 

     I started my small business whilst I was on maternity leave, the pandemic really had an effect on my mental health and I needed to find a way to help myself relax, I turned to aromatherapy. I researched the different ways in which essential oils can be used and I stumbled across shower steamers. I decided to try and make my own and I couldn’t find any in the scents which I preferred, and low and behold a made a product which really worked for me. I was hopeful, I thought maybe I could help others feel a sense of calm in what was such an unpredictable time.

Once I had perfected my product after many trials and lots of feedback, I made ‘The Calm and Collected’ and decided to sell my products on Etsy. 

All my products are vegan, I use natural food grade ingredients which comes in eco friendly packaging which is 100% recyclable. I purchase from other small businesses which promote sustainability. I use eco friendly packaging, paper tapes, recyclable boxes and shredded paper. 

I feel my products help promote positive mental health and well-being, which gives people a better quality of life. In addition, my products enable people to relax and take some much-needed self-care time. Encourages people to take time to breathe and care for themselves physically and mentally.
