Mallorcan natural stone washbasins made in a single piece using traditional Mallorcan techniques by our master craftsmen, 100% made in Mallorca. We are a team of professionals dedicated to manufacturing, marketing, designing and installing natural stone products from Mallorca.

HOW did DAIGO started?

As an interior designer, we aim to promote this sustainable material’s use in any application within the field of construction and interior design, seeking the best qualities and offering excellent results in the short and long term.

WHY did you start it?

During the pandemic, we were building our house and looking for something unique, handcrafted and 100% made in Mallorca. I met my partner, an artisan that has been working the stone for generations. I felt in love of the pure stone, the results and his work. I was excited to show the people the beauty of the stone combined with tradition and modernity. So I decided to create Daigo, to connect the Mallorcan essence in a handcrafted manufacturing process, with this local stone and follow the genuine aesthetics and purity of the island.

Why is DAIGO Sustainable?

We say the 3″Rs” Rule: Reuse, Recyclable, Reduce.

It is reusable; precisely because of its durability, stone used in obsolete constructions can be reused for new works.

It is also recyclable if we take into account its manufacturing process. For example, stone generates waste such as sludge composed of cooling water from machines such as looms, whose composition is precisely the same as that of stone. This characteristic means that this waste is free of toxic elements and can be put to industrial use.

Another key aspect is the ability to regenerate the material. In this case, the stone can be exhausted, but it can last indefinitely with proper management. In addition, it’s long useful life allows the material to be reused.

The ecological footprint is another criterion to take into account when choosing a material. In this sense, stone does not pollute as it does not require any chemical product in the production process.

In what way do you believe you are improving people's lives and the world?

Daigo aims to show the beauty of this timeless and durable stone and to raise awareness of the need to use noble and environmentally friendly materials.
